James O. Chipman
James O. Chipman is a published author and historian who lives in Lone Tree, CO. He wrote The Murder Trial of JFK in 2019. In his book, he delves into the events associated with President John F. Kennedy’s assassination in 1963. He focuses on the testimonies of the witnesses who were there, especially on those who were not allowed to testify. He leaves no stone unturned while uncovering the truth behind the death of JFK.
Before becoming an author and historian, Mr. Chipman began his career as a Postal Inspector for the United States Post Office. Following six years of employment, he became a store manager for the Kmart Corporation where he trained the staff of employees in seven stores all over the western United States. He then established his own company, Retail Consulting Associates, where he went to seminars addressing the question of Walmart coming to town.
This involved a lot of time away from home, so he became an archivist at the Colorado State Archives for the next twenty-eight years. It was a competitive position with 50 applicants, but ultimately he was the one chosen.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Chipman earned his Bachelor of Arts in History in 1967 and his Master of Arts in 1969 from the University of Utah. From 1960 to 1966, he served in the Marine Corps Reserve. He also served a two and a half year mission in France for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
